Regenerative Soil Health
Laboratory
About Us
The Regenerative Soil Health Laboratory at Tennessee State University investigates and promotes best management practices to improve soil health through regenerative agricultural practices, agroforestry, and sustainable cultural practices. Our objective is to provide information on how to best manage soils to boost income generation for small farms.

What we do
We engage in an array of interdisciplinary research focused on soil health and agroforestry practices for sustainable land management and small farm production systems. We explore the interaction of environmental, economic, and social factors within a production system and how to optimize them to produce important benefits with minimal negative externalities.
